What is food?

A food is any substance (solid or liquid) that is ingested by living beings to replace what has been lost due to the activity of the body, to be the source and motor of production of the different substances that are needed for the formation of some tissues, promoting growth and transforming the Energy attached to food in work, locomotion and heat.

We also consume food to satisfy a psychological demand. As we feed, we will feel a sense of satisfaction and gratification. It is usual that if a person does not consume any food in a certain period of weather, is angry and in a bad mood.

Vegetarian food
