What is crime?
Crime is a concept that is used daily to refer to different situations. When we talk about crime we are referring to the fact of committing one or more crimes, is an action carried out by people when violating the laws and for which, in case of being convicted of such acts, a punishment imposed by a judge must be served.
The judicial bodies are the ones that determine the type of penalty, depending on the degree of the transgression. The individuals tried shall have the right to defense, either hired on their own account or through attorneys appointed by the Condition. This is why the end result may not be fair to the plaintiffs or affected parties.
The most common punishments are imprisonment or incarceration and also fines, although there are also others, depending on the country or state in which they are prosecuted, in which the defendant may even serve a sentence of death (execution), although it is rare.
In others it simply varies by the number of years, in some it extends from by life, the latter usually takes place in the case of having committed homicides or for leading groups that have committed murders. There are other situations where the weather designated is so little that it can be paid by daily signatures. Social work counts in the same way as punishment.
Currently we are fighting against this phenomenon that has always existed, perhaps eradicating it is impossible, but its control must be evaluated due to the precariousness of the punishment systems and the few effective prevention mechanisms that exist.
Juvenile delinquency
Juvenile delinquency is that perpetrated by minors (depending on the country, it can be up to 17 years old) and they have a specific court for their prosecution, which has asobjective re-education and inclusion, always bearing in mind youth protection. That is, not only apply a sanction.
In Anglo-Saxon countries, such as the United States, juvenile delinquency tends to be more violent (armed robbery, intimidation, rape, etc.) than in other parts of the world, such asLatin America, place where it is usually related to traffic or consumption of illicit substances and the theft of spices are often thefts. Although the violence with which they operate has been increasing in recent times and they are the main focus of gangs that want to attract members to commit their misdeeds.
Organized crime
Organized crime is planned and its members are perfectly designated to fulfill specific roles within the group. This term was used for the first time to classify the movements that the mafias made.
The police have always worked in secret to be able to deactivate these powerful groups, which in some parts of the world, have become "owners" of territories, sowing fear in their environment.
