History of the technique

Since prehistoric times we have developed techniques for building and using tools.

The technique is an exclusive ability of the human being and of some higher primates, able to understand and use simple tools. However, in the case of humanity, the technique has changed over the centuries, beginning with the lithic tools of prehistoric humanity, to the work of the metals of the antiquity.

Human technique changes in tandem with scientific development and the accumulation of knowledge. knowledge, to the point that both disciplines feed back and promote their innovation. Thus, it is possible to create new tools that in turn allow new discoveries, and so on. This scientific-technical duo is technology.
